BNB Machine Safety Nets: Draw Delays, Refunds and Pauses
What happens if Chainlink is slow, a round never gets drawn, a pool stops selling, sales are paused or the contract goes quiet. Every case has a coded answer.
Good systems plan for things going wrong. In BNB Machine, every unusual situation has an answer written into the smart contract, so your money is never stuck waiting for someone to fix it.
The safety nets

Draw delays
Chainlink usually answers within a minute or two. A delay can happen if the network is busy or the project's Chainlink subscription needs topping up. The request stays waiting and is answered as soon as possible. After 24 hours without an answer, anyone can request again.
Refunds
When a round is cancelled (no random number for 7 days, or no sale for 90 days), each buyer can claim back 80% of the ticket price per ticket, into their earnings balance. The other 20% isn't refunded, because it was already paid to the buyers' uplines when the tickets were bought.
Pauses
The owner can pause new entries (activations, tickets, deposits) for at most 7 days, followed by a 7-day cooldown. While paused, withdrawals, refunds and reward collection keep working.
Dormancy
If the contract sees no activity at all for 365 days (no activation, ticket, deposit, withdrawal, refund, reward collection or draw), the remaining balance goes to the creator and the contract retires. Any activity resets the 365-day clock, so an active community never reaches this.
