BNB Machine Proof of Solvency: How to Check the Money Is There
Proof of solvency means the BNB Machine contract holds at least what it owes members. How it works, where to see it live and how to check it on BscScan.
Proof of solvency means you can see, any second, that the BNB Machine contract holds at least as much BNB as it owes its members. It isn't a monthly report or a promise. It's a calculation anyone can make from the contract's public numbers.

What the contract owes
The contract keeps two running totals, updated with every transaction:
totalBalances: the sum of every member's earnings balance and play balance.totalInRounds: ticket money held for rounds that haven't been drawn or refunded yet.
Owed = totalBalances + totalInRounds.
What the contract holds
The contract's BNB balance, shown at the top of its BscScan page.
The check
A real example from the soft launch: the contract held 0.00996571 BNB; totalBalances was 0.00596571 BNB (one member's play balance) and totalInRounds was 0.004 BNB (a prize waiting for its draw). Held = owed, to the last digit.
Where to see it
- DeFi Hub on bnbmachine.world reads these numbers live and shows a "covered" gauge.
- BscScan: open the contract, compare the BNB balance with
totalBalancesandtotalInRoundsunder Read Contract. See How to verify the contract on BscScan.
What happens to any surplus?
Anything above what is owed (for example fees not yet collected, or BNB sent to the contract by mistake) is surplus. The contract's surplus function shows it, and it can be sent to the creator at most once every 90 days. The surplus calculation never touches what members are owed.
Why this matters
On platforms run by people, you can't see whether deposits are still there until withdrawals stop working. With proof of solvency, the numbers are public all the time, so a shortfall would be visible to everyone immediately.
Frequently asked questions
What is proof of solvency in BNB Machine?
A live check that the contract's BNB balance is at least the total it owes members (all balances plus money waiting in open rounds).
Where can I see BNB Machine's proof of solvency?
In the DeFi Hub on bnbmachine.world, or directly on BscScan by comparing the contract balance with totalBalances and totalInRounds.
Can the team take the members' money as "surplus"?
No. Surplus is only what's above the amount owed to members, and it can be swept at most once every 90 days.
Does proof of solvency mean I can't lose money?
No. It shows that balances are backed. It doesn't change that prize pools are games of chance and that the BNB price moves.
