Play Balance vs Earnings Balance in BNB Machine

BNB Machine gives you two balances. The play balance buys tickets; the earnings balance holds prizes and rewards you can withdraw. Here's how each works.

Updated · 2 min read

Every BNB Machine account has two balances inside the smart contract: a play balance for tickets and an earnings balance for everything you win or earn. Knowing the difference helps you plan what to play and what to withdraw.

Play balance

Your play balance starts with the $8 from your activation. You can top it up with your own BNB at any time. It can only be used for tickets and can't be withdrawn, which keeps the $8 activation credit for playing.

When you buy tickets, the contract uses your play balance first, then your earnings balance if needed.

Earnings balance

Everything you receive goes to earnings:

  • prizes from the pools,
  • $5 direct income for each member you invite who activates,
  • 2% level income from your team's tickets,
  • Community Rank Pool and Top 10 Pool rewards,
  • refunds from cancelled rounds.

From earnings you can:

  1. Withdraw to your wallet: 90% arrives in your wallet in the same transaction, and 10% goes to the creator as the withdrawal fee. See How to withdraw your earnings.
  2. Move it to play for free. This is one way: play balance can't be moved back to earnings.
  3. Buy tickets directly.

Where to see your balances

Your Wallet page and dashboard show both balances, read live from the contract, in BNB and in USD at the current price. The DeFi Hub shows them too.

Frequently asked questions

Can I withdraw my play balance?

No. The play balance is for tickets only. Prizes and rewards go to earnings, which you can withdraw.

Why are there two balances?

It keeps the activation credit and deposits for playing, while everything you win or earn stays withdrawable.

Is moving earnings to play free?

Yes, apart from the small network fee. There's no BNB Machine fee, but it's one way.

Why does my balance in dollars change?

Balances are held in BNB. When the BNB price moves, their dollar value moves with it.
